The two clerks, Mehedeun Hasan, 22, and his father Q M Monsur Rahman, 61, notice the man leaving the store and give chase. Defoe can then be seen putting the beers inside of a car in a Shell parking at 125 Combee Road N and him getting in. Hasan is then seen with a gun pointed at the driver’s door.

Defoe tries to drive away but that is when Hasan shoots at Defoe multiple times, which left Defoe in critical condition with gunshots to the arm and chest.
