Brooklyn, Ny – A 15-year-old gang member wanted in the killing of a teen in Florida was caught holed up in his aunt’s Brooklyn apartment, cop sources said Tuesday.
Christopher Walker had been indicted in the fatal shooting of Noricia Talabert in a car in Florida City, authorities said.
Walker, a member of The Savage Boys gang, has several arrests on gun, drug and assault charges despite his young age, police sources said.
Authorities found him at 6:45 a.m. Monday, dozing on the couch of his aunt’s sixth-floor apartment on Lenox Rd. near Flatbush Ave. in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, sources said.
He was busted by the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, which includes U.S. marshals and NYPD members.
Talabert, of Florida City, and two friends were sitting in a red Nissan Sentra at 10:23 p.m. on Oct. 17 when another car ambushed them and someone opened fire, Miami-Dade County police said.
Talabert was hit but sped off across a vacant lot before crashing into a large tree, cops said.
Her friends, both also 17-year-old Floridians, were wounded but survived the attack.
