Ms. Winfrey got her OWN estate… on an island… in the Pacific Northwest between Seattle and Vancouver. Oprah hasn’t confirmed the purchase but Variety is reporting that two transactions took place with companies connected with Oprah.
The estate is 43 acres with 3,000-feet of shoreline. Whenever it stops raining in the area, she’ll have the choice frolic around the beach however she chooses.
The main house, located on Orcas Island, is a 7,303 square feet, 4 bedroom, 3 full and 2 half bathroom lodge inspired masterpiece.
The home was designed by RMC Architects and built in 2007 by Pearson Construction. Named “Madroneagle” by its’ original owner, Oprah paid $8.25 million for the property. Originally listed for $11.99 million, it seems that O found a deal on this luxurious get-away.
